Lillian Dixon Coakley, 80, resident of 2409 Barkers Ridge Drive, widow of Larry William Coakley, passed away September 4, 2018, at her home. Born in Honea Path, SC, March 30, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Annie Teague Dixon. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend and devoted homemaker.

Mrs. Coakley was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She was predeceased by a daughter, Virginia Short; three brothers, Rev.

Wesley Dixon, Johnny Dixon and Ronnie Dixon. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 pm Sunday at the Oakbrook Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Terry Bailey officiating.

Burial will be within Oakbrook Memorial Park. The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Mausoleum Chapel from 3 to 4 Sunday afternoon. The body is at Blyth Funeral Home and will be placed in the chapel at 2:30 Sunday afternoon.
