Linda Ann McCune, age 69, of Glenmont, Ohio passed away Sunday afternoon, October 28, 2018 at Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, Ohio following a brief illness. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Ed Stivers officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Disabled American Veterans. Linda was born December 8, 1948 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Earl and Norma (Martin) Shinabarker. On April 4, 1970 she married Richard McCune and he survives.

Linda was a 1966 graduate of West Holmes High School. She was soon to retire after working 40 plus years for Sperry Rice, formerly known as Rice-Chadwick. Linda was a member of the Glenmont Church of Christ.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving in addition to her husband are two children; son, Sean McCune of Glenmont, Ohio and daughter, Shannon (Onome) Oroh of Delphos, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kaden and Alexis McCune; her mother, Norma Shinabarker of Glenmont, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Shinabarker.
