OBITUARY Linda Fay Johnston October 3, 1944 – October 11, 2018 Linda Fay Johnston, age 74, departed this life on October 11, 2018. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Mother was a prayer warrior and touched many lives with her prayers.

She was a member of Safe Harbor Church of God. She was preceded in death by her son, Clay Johnston; parents, SJ and Lottie Hudson; brothers, Edward Hudson, Johnny Hudson, and Horace Hudson; and sisters, Dorothy Kelley and Martha Beisecker. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Lisa Brown (Bryan) of Ashville, and Jennifer Johnston of Attalla; Grandsons, Brent Brown (Lindsey), Brandon Brown, Chase Gossett (Tiffany); Granddaughters, Breanna Walker (Joseph) and Amber Reeves; Great grandsons, Jayce Butler, Sawyer Franklin, and soon to arrive Hudsyn Franklin, Cameron Gossett, and Jonathan Gossett; Great granddaughters, Briley Brown, Piper Brown, and Remington Brown; Brothers, Willard Hudson (Jean) and Claudie Hudson (Martha); Sisters, Brenda English (Tom) and twin sister Kay Brooks (Wayne); and special former spouse Kirby Johnston.

Services will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at 3pm at Morgan Funeral Chapel, with visitation from 2-3pm. , JL Knight officiating. Pall bearers will be Brent Brown, Brandon Brown, Chase Gossett, Joseph Franklin, Bryan Brown, James Brooks, and Richard McKinney.

Special thanks to Amedisys Hospice, especially Nurse Lacey, Aid May, and Chaplain Bob, Kay Brooks, and Brooke McKinney. We could not have made it without you.
