OBITUARY Linda Faye Hawes April 20, 1951 – January 25, 2019 Linda Hawes, 67, of Evansville, IN passed away on January 25, 2019. She was born in Greenville, KY on April 20, 1951 to the late Pallis and Nellie Mae Hawes. Linda was a Registered Nurse at Deaconess Midtown Hospital for 37 years.

She worked on the neo-natal and progressive care units. Linda, also, worked as a nurse at Columbia Healthcare for 2 years. She was known to her family and friends as a loving, kind and compassionate person.

Linda was always there to help her family and friends. She is survived by three sisters; Joyce Miller, Geraldine “Sissy” Hawes, Debbie Hawes, and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Anisa Evans.

Family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
