Rhonda Leigh (Dietsch) Heathcott, born April 1, 1965 to parents Larry and Charlene Dietsch, left us all behind to be with God on January 22, 2019. Rhonda really was one who loved Him and expressed that every day. Her suffering and pain are finally over.

She knew it was coming somehow. May she now forever rest in peace with her Lord. Rhonda and her husband Ray had a good life together traveling to many parts of Florida.

They spent several vacations in Panama City Beach, Clearwater Beach and many places of interest. She enjoyed Cubs baseball and IU basketball attending several IU basketball games with her husband. Rhonda could name almost every pro tennis player on the circuit and had just settled in for the Australian Open, which she felt would be won by her player this year.

Rhonda was also an avid bass fisher. She spent most summer days on the water, be it the Ohio river or the many lakes in this area. She owned the fishing at Lake Beshear, near Dawson Springs, KY.

Left behind are Rhonda’s loving husband, fishing buddy, fellow IU basketball and Cubs Fan, Ray. You always saw them together. Also surviving are her mother, Charlene Dietsch; brothers, Buddy (Larry), and Randy; sisters, Debbie (Mark) Medvick and Leslie (Jim) Moffitt and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rhonda had no grandchildren of her own but loved her husband’s as hers. Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Larry Val Dietsch Sr.; uncles, Judge Terry, Steve and Bill Dietsch. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave.

Evansville, IN 47714. With the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
