Charlotte A. Effinger, 77, of Evansville, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 at the North Park Nursing Home. Charlotte was born July 9, 1941 in Evansville, one of sixteen children of the late Frank and Mary (Martin) Effinger. She had worked for Epi-Hab for 21 years before her retirement.

Surviving Charlotte are sisters, Jane Fischer of Charleston, SC, Betty Dunning of Hopkinsville, KY and Marilyn Effinger of Evansville; three brothers, Jerry Effinger McRae, GA, Ernest “Butch” Effinger of Evansville and Steve Effinger of Mt. Vernon and two nephews who were raised with Charlotte, Larry Effinger and Rodney Gish. In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by sisters, Janice Gish and June Johnson and brothers, Ora “Sonny” Effinger, Merel Effinger, William “Tub” Effinger, Frank Effinger, Charlie Effinger, Jack Effinger and Robert Effinger.

Funeral services for Charlotte will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
