OBITUARY William Gilmore November 21, 1946 – January 17, 2019 William M. Gilmore, 72, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born November 21, 1946 in Evansville to the late Wilbur and Kay (Wade) Gilmore. He attended Bosse High School.

William was a Vietnam Army veteran and life member of VFW 1114. He retired from Whirlpool. William was preceded in death by his wife of 18 years, Janie (Fambrough) Gilmore; infant son, Shawn; first wife, Deanna Morris, and brother-in-law, Danny Pate.

He is survived by daughters, Polly Russell and Stacy Kissel (Chris); grandchildren, Lucas Lively, Aubrie Russell, Hanah Kissel and Devin Kissel; sisters, Donna Frank (Conrad) and Virginia “Skip” Pate; two nephews, and a niece. “Mike’s” family will have a visitation celebrating his life 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road.
