Daniel W. Brewster, 74, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Linda E. White Hospice House. Dan was born November 30, 1944 in Evansville to the late Lester S. and Barbara L. (Martin) Brewster. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam.

Dan worked as a police officer with the Oklahoma City Police Department and also as a general contractor. Surviving Dan are a daughter, Angie (Jerry) Peterson of Bedford, TX; two sons, Dan (Rena) Brewster of Sparks, NV and Damon (Tiffany) Brewster of Evansville; sister, Sandi (Ken) Render and brother, Charles Brewster, both of Evansville; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services for Dan will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.
