Lee R. Forney, 91, of Evansville passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital. Lee was born May 5, 1927 in Olney, IL to the late Samuel and Myrtle Forney. Lee worked as a salesman for many years.

He was a WWII veteran in the US Army and he recently went on the Honor Flight. He is survived by daughter, Judith (Larry) Hantle; sons, Ronald (Sue) Forney, Kevin (Rhonda) Forney, and Bertrum (Stephanie) Forney; grandchildren, Josh, Kellie, Nathaniel, Robin, Nicholas, Stuart, Jessica, Samantha, Chelsea, and Courtney; 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Catherine Smith.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday, January 25, 2019, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave. Evansville, IN 47714. Visitation will continue Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 10:00 am-11:00 am with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Evansville Honor Flight of Southern Indiana, PO Box 8234, Evansville, Indiana 47716. Entombment will be at Park Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be made online at www.
