Obituary for Linda Hammer Linda June Hammer, 82 of Westerville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2018. Linda was born on April 1, 1936 in New Lexington, Ohio. She was a resident of West Columbus and a long-time member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Linda retired from the Motorists Mutual Insurance Company. She was lover of animals, often taking in neighborhood strays looking for a home. She was also an avid gardener and immensely enjoyed lovely colorful flowers and plants.

Linda was also a lifetime member of the Barry Manilow International Fan Club. Linda will be deeply missed by family and friends; cousin James W. Swift, niece Carolyn Childers (Gene), great nephew David Childers (Amelito Enriquez), great niece Nancy Childers, friend and caretaker Karmella G. Spears, along with other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is predeceased in death by her parents Loy and Lena Hammer; sister Eva Dietrich (Roland), and nephews Ronald Dietrich and Richard Dietrich.

A graveside service at Glen Rest Memorial Estate 8029 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 will be held on Friday April 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. with Deacon Early McCurry officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 584 W.
