Linda Johnson May 9, 1953 – May 30, 2019 Linda Fay Johnson, age 66, a resident of Santa Fe, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. An inurnment will be held at Maury Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 15th at 10am. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Linda was born on May 9, 1953 in Lewis County and was the daughter of the late Tom Bell Johnson and the late Gertrude Gordon Johnson. She graduated from Hickman County High School and retired from Saturn. She attended Elmore Church of the Nazarene.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she loved very much. She is survived by her son: Matthew (Kasey Lynn) Cates of Santa Fe; grandchildren: Summer Cates, Brantley Cates, and Westin Alderson; sisters: Nancy (Tom) Coghlan and Doris (Bill) Hossbach, both of Columbia; brothers: Cummins (Frances) Johnson of Franklin and S.I. (Nancy) Johnson of Portland, TN; sister in law: Patsy Johnson of Williamsport; six nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews, one great great nephew, and many good friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Tom Baker Johnson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life service.
