Linda Kay O’Dear Arveaux age 63 of Smithville passed away Friday morning, October 19, 2018 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. She was born October 14, 1960 to her parents, the late George and Kathryn Copeland O’Dear. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Bynum John McKelvey, Jr. Linda was a long haul 18 wheeler and a Methodist.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Arveaux of Smithville; twin sister, Brenda Faye O’Dear Martin of Smithville, sisters, Sue Hopper of Nashville and Kathy Howard of Lafayette, GA. The funeral arrangements for Linda are incomplete and will be announced Monday afternoon. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
