Linda Kay Romkowske, 67, Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Alden Debes Health Care Center. She was born September 15, 1951, in Rockford, the son of George and Vivian (Carter) Anderson. Linda married Burke Romkowske in Rockford on December 29, 1973.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Burke; her children, Laura (Tim) Clark of Rockford, Tom (Andrea) Romkowske of Ridgecrest, CA, and Brian Romkowske of Rockford; her grandchildren, Katie, Austin, and Aaron Clark,… Read More » Hailee, Abby, and Elyse Romkowske, and Ethan and Joseph Romkowske; her mother, Vivian Anderson; her brother, Thom Anderson of Belvidere and her sister, Lori Anderson of Rockford; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, George. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.

Rockford, with Reverend Jeff Honson officiating. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
