Linda DePender, formerly Linda Parlmer, maiden name Johnson, age 59, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed Saturday morning, following a debilitating struggle with dementia. Linda is preceded in death by her mother Bonnie Lea Green (Fisher, Johnson, Wilson). She is survived by her husband Lance, son Drew (Rachael) Parlmer, son Corey Parlmer, and two grandchildren Gabriella and Gideon.

In addition she is survived by her father Edward {Gay) Johnson, Brothers Mike (Debbie) Johnson, Pat (Cherie) Fisher, Jeff Fisher and stepfather Robert Fisher. A memorial service in her honor will be held at Calvary church 707 East Beltline NE, Grand Rapids, MI at 11 am on Saturday June 30, with a visitation luncheon to follow. Adoring and adored Wife, loving and loved mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend, Linda enriched so many lives with her open heart, playful nature, and readiness to laugh.

She was previously employed at Bissell, Inc, The Amway Grand Hotel, and operated Linda’s Cleaning Service. Linda was a joyous member of the Calvary church choir, loved the kids she hosted through Students International, and was blessed by her involvement in various other ministries. Fun loving and active, Linda was deeply loved by family and friends.

She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. Proverbs 31:28 ” Her children arise and call her blessed. Her husband also and he praises her”.

Goodbye beautiful, you were truly a treasure.
