Obituary for Linda Margaret Stevenson Linda Margaret Stevenson was born July 25, 1943 in Northampton, England. She passed away peacefully July 17, 2018. She started school in Northampton and was a member of the Sea Cadets.

In the early 60s, she became a student nurse at the Royal Hospital, Richmond Surrey in England. She met and married Robin Stevenson October 2nd, 1965 in Northampton. She then graduated as a nurse in 1966 and was awarded the Bronze Medal in nursing, which was presented to her by Odette, who helped organize the French Underground Resistance in World War II.

After graduating with her nursing degree, she then went on to become a midwife. She worked as a midwife doing home deliveries in Harrow, North West London. In 1969 she gave birth to twins, Ian & Neil, and then in 1977 she gave birth to Andrew.

She loved motherhood and her boys were the highlight of her life. In 1986 she moved with her family from London to Scotland when her husband Robin retired from the Police Force. There they ran a care home for the elderly for about 4 years, and she continued to practice as a part-time nurse.

In 2001 they moved to the United States to help their son Ian, whose wife was chronically ill, and to be close to their three sons who all lived in America. She loved gardening and was looking forward to planting a beautiful garden in heaven. She was firm in her LDS faith.

She was prepared to move on to the next life. She looked forward to a grand reunion with her family in the life to come. Linda was a humble person and wanted a small private viewing with just her immediate family members.

Survived by husband, Robin Stevenson, 3 sons, 9 grandchildren, & younger brothers James & John Broughton who live in England.
