Linda Millisor (Williams – maiden, Wooten – former) November 3, 1947 – January 15, 2019 Linda Millisor (71) of Powell, OH, died Tuesday following an unexpected cancer diagnosis. She was given only a brief amount of time between diagnosis and her death, which allowed her to move on without long term suffering, for which she and her family greatly appreciate. Born Linda Williams, she was raised in Charleston, WV by her parents Marie and Jim (Pappy) Williams.

She had one sibling, her brother Robert (Bobby) Williams. All have preceded her in death. As a young adult Linda relocated to central Ohio, including Bucyrus, Marion, Delaware and Powell.

She resided in Ohio for her entire adult life. She is survived by Courtney Wooten (her daughter), Quinn O’Shea (grandson,12) and Aidan O’Shea (grandson, 15) of Berkley, MI. After a long career in sales in radio, newspaper, hotel, banquet and country club environments, Linda changed direction for her final career.

Most recently, she worked as a Concierge at Bickford Assisted Living center (Formerly Sunrise) in Worthington. She enjoyed her coworkers immensely and had a special place in her heart for Presley the cat. Since reading was Linda’s passion, she read more books in a year than many read in their entire lives.

She loved both current fiction as well as nonfiction. She particularly loved personal journeys, like the stories of those who walk the Appalachian trail. She always had a long list of books on hold at her local library and patiently waited for her name to come to the top of the list.

Donations to your local library, in her memory, would be greatly appreciated. Per her request, no services will be held. Heartland Hospice Care of Columbus, OH was integral in allowing her to handle the end of her life gracefully and with dignity.

Donations to Heartland Hospice in her memory are also greatly appreciated. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Linda Millisor please visit our Sympathy Store.
