Lisa’s Obituary Lisa Ann Casto, 58, of Hagerstown, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Born March 13, 1960 in Easton, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Brenda (Peterson) Dukes and her stepfather, Thomas Dukes, and her biological father, Virgil Passwaters. Lisa was a 1978 graduate of Broad Run High School in Ashburn, VA.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hagerstown. She was also a perpetually professed member of the Holy Family Institute of the Pauline Family.

Lisa loved to sing and spent many years as a cantor at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting and traveling with her husband Tony, sister Karen, and brother-in-law Todd. Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Anthony J. “Tony” Casto; two daughters, Sara M. Smith, Amy L. Kelly and husband Ryan; three sisters, Karen L. DeHaven and husband Todd, Debbie J. LeMaster and husband Fred, Diane L. Ferguson and husband Ivey; six grandchildren, James Smith, Matthew Smith, Daniel Smith, Emily Smith, Connor Kelly, Lucas Lester; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, February 1, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 224 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, with Father Larry Adamczyk officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lisa’s name to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 224 W. Washington St., Hagerstown.
