Liselotte E. Sagert, age 96 of Shawano, formerly of Green Bay, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, July 21, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Shawano at Birch Hill. Liselotte “Lisa” E. Sagert was born January 28, 1922 in Berlin, Germany. Lisa re-located to the United States in the 1950’s, later working as a nurse at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay for over 40 years.

During her time in Green Bay, Lisa was active with the local German-American Society and the Bellin Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of Christus Lutheran Church, Clintonville, where she was involved with the sewing and quilting groups, as well as the Christus Lutheran Church Women. Lisa loved to sew, cook, and bake, especially alongside her granddaughter, Emma.

She will also be remembered for her love of flower gardening. Lisa is survived by: Daughter-in-law: Dawn Sagert, Shawano Grandchildren: Emma & William Sagert, Shawano A great-grandson: Aaron Andersen She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Francis “Fran” Sagert; great-granddaughter, Valerie; brother, Rolf Sagert; & uncle, Erich Neuman. Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, with the Rev.

Brian Crocker officiating. Interment will take place at St. Martin Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Larrabee. Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the service.

Lisa’s family would like to offer thanks to Tina and Bill with Heartland Hospice for the wonderful love and care shown to Lisa in her final months.
