Lisette A. “Letty” Werner, age 80, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday morning, September 16, 2018. She was born October 22, 1937 in Sheboygan to Reuben and Helen (Guenther) Klemm. She was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School, Class of 1956.

She attended Downer College before her marriage to Timothy B. Werner on January 24, 1959. Letty was employed at The Sheboygan Press where she met Tim. She enjoyed living along the shore of Lake Michigan where she walked… Read More » the beach and woods with her dogs, picked mushrooms, and enjoyed the outdoors.

She and Tim had wonderful times on their yearly trips to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Letty also enjoyed needlepoint and playing golf with her friends at Pine Hills. She was actively involved with the community as well as her churches, St. Clement and St. John the Evangelist Catholic parishes.

Letty is survived by her son, Tim Werner of Oregon City, OR, Daniel (Sara Duffey) Werner of Chicago, IL, Jacob (Therese) Werner of Clarksville, MD, and Gratia (fiancé, Trevor Fenske) Werner of DePere, WI; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Tucker Blevons, Abigail, Lauren, Brayden, Zachary, Connor and Katelyn; sisters-in-law, Joanne Werner, Helen Werner, and Sister Mary Ellen Werner, OP; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Tim, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Betty Klemm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church.

Rev. Matthew Widder, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Sheboygan County Humane Society and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Letty’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at Sharon Richardson Community Hospice as well as family friend, Dianna Rogers, RN.
