Lloyd Dale Bunner, 82, went home to be with The Lord on Dec. 21. Lloyd was born June 2, 1936 in Brohard W.Va.

the son of William and Doris Bunner. Lloyd moved to Barberton at the age of 18 where he met Ruth, the love of his life. Lloyd was a life-long mechanic and loved anything with an engine.

He owned his own business, worked for various shops in the Akron area and retired doing what he enjoyed. He loved being with family, tending his flowers, a good meal and trips home to W.Va. Lloyd was a man of God, who lived what he believed and will be lovingly remembered for his kind, generous spirit.

He strived to always to do right by everyone. Lloyd is reunited with loved ones in heaven and is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Bunner, siblings Cleo (Phyllis), Leonard, Agnes (Paul) Smith & Connie (Terry) Grimm, daughter Joy (Garney) Hicks, and sons Glenn (Karen) and Gene (Carrie). Grandchildren Greg (Janeen) Hicks, Brian (Maggie) Kelley, Jessica (Chris) Schill Todd Kelley, Dakota (Rachael) Bunner, Dawson, Dylan, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 28, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave. , Barberton, OH 44203. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.

Family will receive friends Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6-8 pm and on Friday from 11:00 am until the service at 12:00 pm.
