Mr. Lloyd Edward Roark, age 74, of Lake City, FL, passed away at his home on February 5, 2019. Lloyd was born on August 8, 1944, in Lynch, Kentucky to the late Willie Roark and Ida Nix Cotten. Mr. Roark lived in Kentucky then Ohio before settling in Lake City for the past 20 years.

Mr. Roark proudly fought for our country with the Army in Vietnam. He worked as a correctional officer for the Department of Corrections until his retirement. He loved being on his boat, fishing, camping or anything involving the outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother James and sister Edna. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 19 years, Susan Griffis Roark of Lake City; son, Nick Roark, of Ohio; sisters, Willi Mae Joyner of North Carolina, Brenda (Greg) Burger of Kentucky and Jane Boggs of Indiana. A graveside services for Lloyd will be held at Brown Cemetery in Starke, FL, on Saturday, February 9th at 10am with Rev.

Randall Griffis officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of ARCHER FUNERAL HOME.
