Lloyd W. Eshleman, 92, of Linglestown, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in his home. Born August 24, 1925 in Shellsville, he was a son of the late Ross and Maude (Miller) Eshleman. The widower of Betty J. (Miller) Eshleman, he was also preceded in death by his daughter Sandra Geesaman and siblings William Eshleman, Clair Eshleman, Fay Rodenbaugh, Erma Flory and Almeda Long.

A retired service technician and member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 520, he started with Jacoby Heating (H. C. Nye Company) and ended his career with G. R. Sponaugle and Sons Inc He was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Grantville.

A U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, member and past commander (1971-1972) of Shellsville V. F. W. #9639, Lloyd was a member of Lawnton American Legion and the NRA. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to be deep sea fishing on the Atlantic. Surviving are his grandchildren Brian Geesaman of Harrisburg and Connie, wife of Tim Dunkle of Hummelstown; and great grandchildren Mindy and Jake Geesaman, Logan O’Neal and Alanna Casey.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at his church, 165 Firehouse Road, Grantville, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment, with military honors, will be in Grantville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children’s Miracle Network, 1249 Cocoa Avenue, Suite 115, Mail Code HS21, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033-0852.
