OBITUARY Loaree Harris Robinson February 14, 1926 – December 9, 2018 Loaree Harris Robinson was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, Dec 9th, 2018. Loaree was born to the late Walter and Maude Hedgepeth, a Methodist preacher and a homemaker in Lawrence County, Mississippi on February 14, 1926. She was immersed in the Christian Faith at an early age and began a lifelong commitment to her lord.

She grew up in a loving household with 2 brothers and 6 sisters. The bond that she shared with her siblings was deep rooted and eternal. She graduated from Harrisville High School in 1944.

Loaree worked more than 40 years as a photo technician while raising 4 children. She was proud charter member of McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church in Pearl, Mississippi. She was an active member of United Methodist Women and devoted to Ladies Sunday School class at the church.

She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends. Loaree is survived by her sister, Annelle and Thomas Stephens; children, Tommy and Peggy Harris, Robert and Geralene Harris, Elizabeth and Kelly Nash, and Dennis Harris; stepchildren, Raymond and Betty Carol Robinson, Billy Sue and Roy Moss, Eddie Robinson, and Dan and Sandra Robinson. She was blessed to have many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews whom she loved dearly.

Loaree was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Edison Harris and Bill Robinson; her sisters Katherine Dunaway, Earline Reed, Lucille King, Hilda Ashley, and Mary Maude Jones; her brothers, HJ Hedgepeth and Curtis Hedgepeth, daughter-in-law, Cleo Robinson and her parents. A celebration of Loaree’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 11:00AM at McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, MS on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM and Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM.

Memorial donations may be made in Loaree’s name to McLaurin Heights United Methodist Church or Blair E Batson Children’s Hospital. The Family thanks everyone for their prayers and support! !
