Lois E. Luce, 94, of Yorktown, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Fall Creek Assisted Living in Pendleton, Indiana. Lois was born on February 24, 1924 to the late Espy and Lila (Whitehair) Luce. She attended Daleville Schools and retired from Marsh Warehouse.

Lois enjoyed shopping, sewing, and crafts. Lois is survived by her nieces and nephews, Sandy Longmore (husband Butch) of Colorado, Beverly Pershing (husband Michael) of Anderson, Bob Voyles (wife Brenda) of Texas, Ruth Voyles of Anderson, Dave Luce (wife Jil) of Muncie; Danny Luce (wife Janice) of North Carolina, Debbie Luce of Yorktown, and Don Luce (wife Wendy) of Noblesville; and many great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great- nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her siblings, Marion Luce, Edith Voyles, and Darrell Luce; a nephew, Gene Voyles; and a niece, Nancy Baldwin.

A funeral service to celebrate Lois’ life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel, 2215 S. Broadway St. in Yorktown, IN 47396. Burial will follow in Sunderland Cemetery. Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Gant Funeral Homes, Yorktown Chapel.
