Lois Jean Darland, 66, of Walton, passed away early Saturday morning, October 27th, 2018 at Waterford Place Heath Campus in Kokomo. She was born December 1, 1951 in Kokomo to Donald A. and Barbara E. (Barker) Darland. Lois loved arts and crafts and the nature around her.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing clothes, cooking, baking, collecting things and was an avid reader. She especially enjoyed telling stories to her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her loving siblings, Mary E. (Spencer) Brown, Washington; Butch (Stacy) Darland, Galveston, IN; Judith Darland, Walton, IN; and Terry (Dana Elzbeck) Darland, Walton, IN She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded Lois in death. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3rdat Galveston Cemetery with Pastor Terry Russell officiating. Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston has been entrusted with arrangements.
