Lois Karen McCourt of Claypool, Indiana passed away surrounded by family at 7:53 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her residence at the age of 79. She was born on July 15, 1939 to Lela Joy (Mahoney) Method and Guy Benjamin Method. She was married to Noble Leon Rohrer from 1956 – 1978.

Together they had two sons and one daughter before they divorced. Lois re-married on June 1, 1984 to Vincent McCourt, and they divorced in 2004. Lois was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where she worked at Jomac Gloves in Warsaw, Kosciusko Community Hospital and later at Goshen Cushion.

She was always a hard worker and retired in 2002 from Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw. She loved her cats, especially her cat Patches, and was an avid Notre Dame Fan. She loved her family and grandchildren and will be forever missed.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Michael Rohrer (Claypool, Indiana); Jeffrey (Melanie) Rohrer (Claypool, Indiana); nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother: Doug Method (Warsaw, Indiana). She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Rita Sabo, sister, Fern Neff, brother, Guy Method, and her ex-husband, Noble Leon Rohrer who died on October 15, 2018.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana. Burial will follow with a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw and officiated by her son, Reverend Michael Rohrer.
