FROSTBURG- Lois Mae Sweitzer, 81, of Frostburg passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Ringler and Essie Mae (Chaney) Ringler. Lois is preceded in death by her husband Robert Francis Sweitzer, Jr., a granddaughter, Samantha Sweitzer, and five brothers, and three sisters.

Lois was a 1954 graduate Fort Hill High School. She worked as an accountant for Sowers Accounting, and the Gunter Hotel. Lois was a member of the Divine Mercy Parish at St. Michael’s Church.

She is survived by sons, Bob Sweitzer and wife Liz of Frostburg; Mike Sweitzer and wife Tracey of LaVale; Darin Sweitzer and wife Lisa of Berkeley Springs; and Debbie Polizzi of St. Petersburg, FL; numerous beloved grandchildren, and great-grandchildren , and sister Barbara Richards of Cumberland, Sowers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Lois will be cremated and services will be private.
