Dorothy Cecilia Whitehead, 89, of Midlothian, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehab. Born on March 20, 1929 in Barton, to the late Frank and Amina (Warnick) Brennan. In addition to her parents she is preceded by her husband Charles “Chick” Whitehead Jr.; four brother, Ed, Dave, Buddy and John; three sisters, Ruth, Elizabeth and Margaret.

Surviving one son, Tim Whitehead and partner Bonnie Mitchell, Lonaconing; Bonnie’s children which Dorothy considered her own, Kathy Mitchell and Missy Wilhelm; and their children, Gavin, Tristyn, Skylyn, Annabelle, Sophia, Leila and Chloe; one brother, Bill Brennan and wife Gloria, Baltimore; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave. , Frostburg, MD, on Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 12 noon to 2 pm.

Funeral services will follow at 2pm, with Rev. Rob Culler officiating. Interment Frostburg Memorial Park.
