Obituary for Lois M. Miller Lois M. Miller, 86, of Mentone, Indiana passed at 7:50 pm, Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at Millers Merry Manor of Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on April 30, 1932 in Marshall County, Indiana to Leonard and Treva (Harsh) Boganwright.

She married on July 1, 1950 in Bourbon, Indiana to James D. Miller, he preceded her on Feb. 21, 2000. Lois, with her husband, had owned and operated Miller’s Hardware and Miller’s Mobile Home Park of Mentone, Ind.

as well as being a homemaker. She was a graduate of Mentone High School in 1950. Lois was a member of the Burket United Methodist Church and the Jolly Janes.

She served as Director of the Bell Aircraft Museum, a board member of the Bell Memorial Library, a former Den Mother, coached girls for the Mentone Youth League, and a former EMS secretary. She established the name of the 4-Way Ambulance Service in Mentone. She enjoyed volunteering for the American Red Cross and the Mentone Nutrition Site.

She was honored as the Mentone Egg Festival Parade Marshal. She enjoyed watching her great grandchildren play baseball and softball. Survivors and place of residence: Sons – Darrel and wife Pam Miller – Mentone, Ind.
