Loretta’s Obituary Loretta A. Kasza, age 86, of Brookfield, formerly of Shawano and Cecil, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019. Born on March 21, 1932 in Milwaukee, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Anna (Annen) Maurus. Loretta was a graduate of Bay View High School, class of 1950.

On September 27, 1952 she was united in marriage to Raymond Kasza in Milwaukee. Together the couple made their home and raised their family in the St. Francis area near Milwaukee before moving to the Shawano area in 1994. While living in Milwaukee, Loretta participated with the band and chorus at Allen Bradley from 1950 through 1959.

Upon her move to this area, Loretta became a member of the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Cecil, where she was active in the Catholic Council of Women (CCW). Raymond preceded her in death on February 25, 2010 after 57 years of marriage. Loretta is survived by: 2 sons, Gary (Lynn) Kasza of Oak Creek, Greg (Vickie) Kasza of Brookfield; 4 grandchildren, Kimberly, Kevin, Nick, and Robert; her sister-in-law, Sally Maurus of Milwaukee; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Loretta was preceded in death by: her husband, Raymond; a daughter, Gail Rydeski; a brother, Walter (Barbara) Maurus; sisters-in-law, Barbara Maurus, Mary Jane Kasza and a brother-in-law, Henry (Mary Jane) Kasza. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Cecil with Deacon Mike Grzeca officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Drive Cemetery in the Town of Wescott.

Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
