AURORA Louis E. Hubach, of Aurora, age 92, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019. Beloved husband for 64 years of Mildred Hubach (nee Weil); loving father of Bruce (Gretchen) Hubach of Hudson and Lynn Hubach of Aurora; grandfather of Gwen (Tommy) Bowen of Hudson and Beth Hubach of Columbus. Son of the late Erwin and Dorothy (Bruce) Hubach.

Lou was born in Cleveland on March 6, 1926. Dear brother of the late Margaret Garvin (John) and the late Marion Workman (Robert). Lou was a January 1944 graduate of Shaker Heights High School, and he immediately enlisted in the U.S. Army where he served in the Rainbow Division, B232 Infantry in the European theatre in WWII.

He also served in the Occupation forces in Austria after the war, including as bodyguard to General Mark W. Clark. When his military service ended Lou returned to Cleveland, working first at Lubrizol and then at W.S. Tyler Co He was transferred to the Manhattan offices of W. S. Tyler where he worked from 1948 through 1964 as an application engineer.

In 1964 Lou and his family moved to Aurora. e worked Lou also worked for Tempo Products and Cleveland Range, where he retired in 1988. No calling hours.

There will be a private burial for family members at Markillie Cemetery, Hudson, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at The Church in Aurora, 146 South Chillicothe Road, Aurora OH 44202, Friday March 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM. , with Rev.

Kevin M. Horak officiating. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard Team, assisted by members of Mantua American Legion Post No. 193.

Immediately following the memorial service, family and friends are invited to a time of fellowship at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the church. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua where condolences and memories may be viewed at www.
