Louise’s Obituary Hendricks, Louise A. 4/14/1952 – 1/9/2019 Saginaw Louise Hendricks, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, age 66. She was born on April 14, 1952, the daughter of Helen and Joseph Gromaski. Louise graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree and the University of Michigan with a master’s degree in Criminal Justice, and retired from Midland County as a probation officer after decades of service.

On June 11,1995, she married the love of her life, Jerry Hendricks, who preceded her in death on December 9, 2005. Bible Study, traveling, collecting Barbies, attending plays and musicals, and watching her grandchildren compete in athletics and robotics were some of her favorite past times. A devoted member of Hopevale Church, Louise was involved in many Bible studies and outreach groups including the Community Desk, Young at Hearts, and Bible Camp.

An avid traveler, in recent years she visited Alaska, Ireland, Israel, Montana, Washington D.C., and London. Her favorite trips were to Spain with her grandson and to New York City with her daughter, and granddaughter. Louise was looking forward to traveling back to Israel with a group from Hopevale and a trip to Greece with her daughter and granddaughter.

Left to cherish Louise’s memory are her beloved daughter, Amy, son in law, Don Pilon, and grandchildren, Alecxander and Victoria. Louise is lovingly remembered by her siblings Dave, Gary, Philip, Karen, and their families. Family and friends will remember Louise for her love of the Lord, generous heart, impeccable sense of style, and love of her furry companions; Brady and Sully.

A celebration of life will take place on February 2nd, 2019 at Hopevale Church, 4873 N Center Road, Saginaw MI. The family will receive visitors from 12:00-2:00 pm. A celebration of Louise’s life will begin at 2:00, with a fellowship and dessert reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established by the family and will be divided equally between Hopevale Church and Freeland Robotics.
