OBITUARY Louise Davis August 28, 1927 – December 24, 2018 Old Town- Louise Davis, 91, died peacefully December 24, 2018, at a Bangor nursing facility. She was born August 28, 1927, in Old Town, a daughter of Walter and Alice (Comeau) LeBreton. Louise was an active communicant of Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, where she taught Catechism, served as a lector, on the funeral luncheon committee, brought communion to shut-ins, member of Daughters of Isabella, and sang in the choir.

She was an avid golfer and was a member of the Penobscot Country Club and Bangor Municipal Golf Course and was a member of Women’s Golf Association. Many will remember the annual Davis Cup tournament! She enjoyed time spent with family and friends at camp, playing cards, bowling, ceramics, and fishing.

She was a home health caregiver in the Old Town area for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Duffelmeyer and her husband, John of Carmel; three grandchildren, Sean Duffelmeyer and his wife, Kelley, of Northport, Erica Toothaker of Carmel, and Chad Duffelmeyer and his companion, Hillary Dyer, of Old Town; six great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Zack, Nick, Garrett, Shady, and Ruby; brother, Walter LeBreton Jr. and his wife, Coletta, of Olamon; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, William “Whitey” Davis in 1976; two sisters, Ethel Psomiades and Edith Caldwell; and two brothers, Raymond and George LeBreton.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, Old Town where a luncheon will follow in the Parish Hall. Spring burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association www.
