OBITUARY Louise Willis Brewer November 18, 1930 – September 14, 2018 Louise Willis Brewer, 87, of Oak Island passed away Friday, September 14, 2018 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center in Wilmington. Mrs. Brewer was born November 18, 1930 in Southport, daughter of the late Leland Willis and Agatha Gaskins Willis. She owned and operated Gay’s Gift Shop on Yaupon Beach for over 20 years.

Her well-known wit, personality, and humor will be greatly missed by many. Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her husband, Homer W. Brewer, son, Randy Brewer, brother, Tommy Willis, and “sister”, Edith “Bunny” Heath. Survivors include her children, Tommy Brewer (Mary) of Charlotte and Debbie Brewer (Ben) of Oak Island; four grandchildren, Sam, Chad, Joshua, and Kristina Brewer; one great grandchild, Blaze Helms; daughter-in-law, Kim Brewer of Oak Island; and a dear friend, Graves Lewis of Lake Waccamaw.

A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to SECU Hospice of Brunswick, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, North Carolina 28422. Online condolences may be made at www.
