Obituary for M. Lucile Nagy Print M. Lucile Nagy, 84 M. Lucile Nagy, 84 of Ashland passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 in Lutheran Village. She was born on November 30, 1934 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Kenneth and Jeanette (nee McWilliams) Peach. Lucile graduated from Savannah High School, Class of 1952.

After graduation, Lucile went on the earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Muskingum College in 1956. She married Ernest William Nagy on November 16, 1957 in Savannah at the United Presbyterian Church. Lucile retired after more than 30 years from Vermillion City Schools.

Following her retirement, Ernest and Lucile moved to Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to enjoy a life in the country in a log cabin. Throughout her life, Lucile has enjoyed being involved with her church and participating in community events helping others. She also was an avid bingo player.

Lucile is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth (Wayne) Crist of Ashland, Patricia (Earl) Benner of Apache Junction, Arizona, and Sandy (Ned) Carman of Ashland; and twelve nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lucile is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Nagy who passed away in 2000; and her step-mother, Eunice Peach. In keeping with Lucile’s wishes she will be laid to rest alongside her husband in the Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, Ohio.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lutheran Village for their care and compassion they have given to Lucile these past four years as well as the care that Pathways Hospice has shown during her final days.
