Obituary for Steven P. Poland Print Steven P. Poland, 64 Steven P. Poland, 64 of Ashland passed away, Saturday morning, January 19, 2019 in the Arbors of Mifflin. He was born on April 3, 1954 to the late Arnold and Erma (nee Arnold) Poland in Ashland, Ohio Steve was a graduate of Ashland High School, Class of 1973. Following his graduation, Steve proudly served in the United States Marine Corp following the Vietnam War.

He is survived by two sisters, Debra Kauffman and Midge Reinard; two brothers, David (Jane) Poland and Mike (Chrissy) Poland; numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, Steve is preceded in death one brother, Terry D. Poland. In keeping with Steve’s wishes, interment will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
