Francis “Frank” T. Perro, age 92, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1926 in Trenton, N.J., the son of the late Samuel and Lottie (Letkiewiez) Perro. Mr. Perro had been a Union Official and former President of the Laborer’s Local 172 in New Jersey where he retired.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during WWII. Mr. Perro was a member of the American Legion Post 88, a past member of the Elks Lodge, and a supporter of the Boy’s Town of Italy. On November 27, 1965 Frank married Helen (Serafine) Perro who survives.

Also surviving are his daughter, Frances Swaisgood of Ashland; his grandchildren, Richard, Jennifer, Miki and Daniel (Madu); along with his great grandchildren, Justin, Felicia, Miguel, Eric, Helen II and Samara. At Frank’s request there will be private family services.
