Obituary for Lucille Huffman (Minton) Lucille Minton Huffman, age 84, of Hudson, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. She was born September 11, 1934 in Caldwell County and was the daughter of the late Skylar Minton and Dona Clary Minton. Lucille was retired from Shufford Mill and was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church Hudson.
Mrs. Huffman was also preceded in death by her husband Lee Huffman as well as three brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Huffman is survived by her daughters, Diane Hollar (Jerry) of Lenoir, Janice Shell (Johnny) of Hudson, Kathy Trivett (Michael) of Granite Falls and sons, Terry Moore of Lenoir and Kenneth Moore of Granite Falls. Also left to cherish Lucille’s memory are nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
The Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Sunrise Baptist Church in Hudson from 2:00-3:00 pm with the Service to follow at 3:00 pm officiated by Rev. Edd Warren and Rev. Devin Severt.
