Obituary for Darrell George Schauman Darrell Schauman, age 63, of Granite Falls went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 6, 1955, son of the late Donald Sr. and Dona Hayes Schauman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Katherine Schauman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Judy Schauman of the home; one son Dustin Schauman of Lenoir; one step-son, Eric Bost (Jennifer) of Hickory; one step-daughter, Heather Reid (Chris) of Greenville, TN; two brothers, Donnie Schauman of Granite Falls and David Schauman (Alisa) of Hudson; two sisters, Debbie Knight (Gene) of Granite Falls and Dana Donahue (Tony) of China Grove; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Mackie Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel.
