Obituary for Frederick Dale Griffin Granite Falls – Frederick Dale Griffin, of Granite Falls went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 28th, 2018, at a private residence. He was born November 12th, 1953 and was the son of the late Walter Brock Griffin and Iona Mae Bowman Griffin. Mr. Griffin was a Master Carpenter for 49 years.
He enjoyed building anything and everything. Survivors include his brothers Kenneth(Barbara) of Southport, NC, Gerald(Ingunn) of Lenoir, Larry(Deenie) of Granite Falls, and his sister Janice Griffin. He is also survived by two nieces and 4 nephews.
A visitation is planned for Sunday, December 2nd at Philadelphia Lutheran Church from 3:00-4:00 followed by a service with the pastor Diane Cline officiating located at 52 Pinewood Road, Granite Falls, NC 28630. The burial will then be at Sunset Hills Cemetary. Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity and Philadelphia Lutheran Church.
