Obituary for Novella Adams (Higgins) Novella Adams, age 90, of Hudson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Hickory Falls Health & Rehab. She was born August 12, 1928, daughter of the late Tom Higgins and Flora Almeda Watkins Higgins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Adams Owens and eight brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Cynthia Adams of Conover, granddaughter, Lauren Owens of Hudson, and grandson, Brian Starnes (Angie) of Newton as well as a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Granite Falls with the Service to follow at 2:00 PM officiated by Dr. Robert B. Evans, Jr. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 12 Crestview Street, Granite Falls, NC 28630.
