Obituary for Gregory Ernest Taylor Print Gregory Taylor age 55, of Granite Falls, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He was born February 16, 1963, son of Thad Arney Taylor and Pauline Elizabeth T. Cloniger. Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Thad Arney Taylor and step-mother Diane Deal of Banner Elk; his mother Elizabeth T. Cloniger and step-father, Charles Cloniger of Lenoir; two sisters, Sylvia Wilson (Eddie) of Granite Falls and Sheryl James (Craig) of Roaring Gap; two brothers Ronnie Taylor (Martha) of Granite Falls and Eddie Taylor (Becky) of Happy Valley; four nephews and two nieces.
The family will receive friends at Mackie Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. James Ritch officiating.
