Obituary for Patricia Sue Land (Austin) Patricia Sue Land went home to be with her heavenly Father, Friday, November 23, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice in Hudson. She was born March 21, 1945, daughter of the late Robert Martin Austin and Pearl Lucille Bentley Austin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willard Eugene Land and twin brother and sister Bobby and Betty Austin.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister Barbara Ann Price, daughter Tammy Bowie and husband Jeff and two grandsons, Tyler and Jayden Bowie, also a niece, Stephanie Price Mathis and nephew, Franklin Joe Price. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 27th from 10:00-11:00 AM at Christian Fellowship Chapel in Granite Falls. The funeral will be at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dan Greene officiating.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lenoir. Pallbearers will be Van Kirby, A.J. Bryant, Joe Price, Daniel Locklear, Jonny Mathis and Jeff Bowie. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Building Fund of Christian Fellowship Chapel, 99 N. Main St. Granite Falls, NC 28630 or Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood St. NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.
