Obituary for LUIS R. ARGUELLO A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Luis R. Arguello, age 79 of O’Donnell, Texas at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in O’Donnell, Texas with Father John Steven Rathinam officiating and assisted by Deacon Simon Resendez. Inspirational music will be provided by Mr. Pete Morales. Interment will follow to the O’Donnell Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with a Rosary prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Luis passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at his home in O’Donnell. He was born on August 25, 1938 in Lytle, Texas.

Luis married Rafaela Rosales on February 10, 1963 in Roma, Texas. Luis was preceded in death by his parents, Severo and Juanita Arguello. Luis had lived in O’Donnell since 1960.

He worked for Dallas Vaughn for approximately 45 years. Luis was a member of St. Pius X Catholi church and the organization of the Knights of Columbus. Luis was a retired cotton farmer.

Luis is survived by his family, his wife, Rafaela Rosales Arguello of O’Donnell, Texas; his son, Armando R. Arguello and wife, Stella Arguello of O’Donnell, Texas; his dauthers, Norma Arguello of Lorenzo, Texas and Maria Arugello of Posey, Texas. Several relatives and friends.
