OBITUARY Lydia M. Monteiro September 9, 1931 – October 1, 2018 Lydia M. (Ferreira) Monteiro, age 87, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 in Country Gardens Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Monteiro. Born in Somerset she was graduate of Somerset High School.

Ms. Monteiro enjoyed bike riding, gardening and taking care of her cats and her dog, Laddie. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Monteiro and his fiancé Sue Eldridge of Swansea and Robert Monteiro and his wife Jan of Harrison, ME; and four grandchildren, Julie, Alex, Tommy and Ben. Her private Funeral Services are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, Swansea.
