Obituary of Lynda Straughan Lynda Ann Brookshire Straughan, age 78, of Randleman died Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Straughan was born February 19, 1940 the daughter of Thomas and Anafla Robertson Brookshire. Lynda was a native of Randolph County and a member of New Life Family Fellowship.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed working word search puzzles, listening to gospel music and crocheting. In addition to her parents, Lynda is preceded in death by her husband, Carlis Lee Straughan, brother, Wade Brookshire, Jr. and step father, Lacy Hughes. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Vonnie Brookshire of Randleman; several nieces and nephews and feline companion, Mr. Kitty.
