Lyndall Barnett Schwartz died peaceably Tuesday February 26 in Waxahachie. He was born February 7th 1923 to George Washington and Sally Schwartz in Palmer Texas. Lyndall grew up in Palmer and was married to Virgel Autry in 1946.

He was a World War II veteran and served in Korea, being discharged in 1949. He was baptized at The Fundamental Baptist Church in Palmer, was a current member, where he attended regularly. He retired from Tyler Refrigeration in the 1980’s and enjoyed his retirement years, staying active until his death.

He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. He especially loved watching rodeos, and helping his son, Jerry, shoe horses. He is survived by his children: Joe and Barbara Schwartz of Dripping Springs, Jerry and Laura Schwartz of Palmer, Darlene and Steve Skoda of Wilmer and Darene and Billy walker of Waxahachie; Grandchildren: David Schwartz, Misty and Shannon Kelton, Jorey Lynne and Scott Berry, Logan and Tracey Schwartz, Chaz and Crystal Skoda, Cody and Robin Skoda, Jeremy Walker, Jessica and Jameson Gowin; 11 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Schwartz was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Virgel, his parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Services to celebrate his life will be held Monday March 4th 10:00 a.m. at the Fundamental Baptist church in Palmer. Interment will follow at the Palmer Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday March 3rd from 3 to 5 at Wayne Boze funeral home.
