Mable E. Moxley, 89 of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018 in the Abbey Manor Assisted Living, Elkton, MD. Born in Woodlawn, VA, on December 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Lena (Hill) Landreth. She was the wife of the late Herbert Moxley who passed in 1991.

Mrs. Moxley retired from Thiokol after 21 years of service as a secretary. She was a member of the Women’s Club of Elkton. Survivors include her daughter: Cheryl Ford; 4 stepchildren: Jerry Moxley, Mike Moxley, Linda Souza, Marcia Smithers; her granddaughter: Lauren Taylor (Brian); and grandson: Brett Ford; and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son: William James Reid; a sister: Polly Horton; her son-in-law: David “Larry” Ford; and stepson: Jimmy Moxley. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Richard Humphries will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow services in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
