Obituary for Mable “Jean” Combs Mable “Jean” Combs, age 81, passed away on January 1, 2019. She was born on August 14, 1937 to the late Irvin and Louise Hammond in Denver, CO. Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Jack Combs, her parents, and brothers, Larry and Dwayne Hammond, step mother, Maxine Hammond.

She is survived by her children, Debra (Ben) Clark of AL, Ray (Ruth) Peters of NE, Carol (Darren Meyer) Peters of NE, Michael (Merry) Peters of OH, Raina (Jim) Bradford of OH, Jackie (Christina) Combs of OH, and Jeffrey (Kyndra) Combs of OH; 53 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brothers, Jim Hammond, Cliff Hammond, Lyle Hammond, and Tom Hammond. sisters, Susie Ackerman, Roberta Trudell, Cheryl Hammond, Phyllis Hammond, and Ernie Fredenburg; many nieces, nephews, and other dear friends and family. Waiting for her on the other side in addition to her husband and other family is her very dear and long time best friend, Juanita Aurand.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM on January 3, 2019 at the O.R. Woodyard South Chapel where the service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM. Ben Clark officiating. Interment Fernwood Cemetery.
