MACK FREEMAN JR. Mack Freeman, Jr. was born April 3, 1965 to the union of Mack Freeman, Sr. and Mrs. Lula B. Freeman in Kansas City, Missouri at General Hospital #2. His beloved and loving mother preceded him in death March 18, 1992.

Mack was the third child of five. He grew up in the 5400 block of Norton Avenue attending the Joseph S. Chick (J.S.Chick) Elementary School, subsequently, graduating from Southwest High School in 1983. Mack was saved and believed in Jesus Christ.

He was called to the ministry at an early age accepting his calling to preach God’s Word to the lost and weary. It has been said that Mack would talk about God anywhere and anytime. Mack was a member of the Christ Tabernacle Church under the leadership of Reverend Pinkins.

Mack worked various jobs in his earlier years but eventually discovered his career path as a self-taught; self-learned; and self -proclaimed; God given talent as an Auto Mechanic. Mack never received formal training in this field. He successfully opened and operated his own auto mechanic shop serving customers faithfully and cheerfully for more than 15 years.

Mack was always willing, able, and ready to help those needing help. Growing up, Mack enjoyed roller-skating. He loved having fun.

His favorite pastime was eating, and you could find him at Gates BBQ on Fridays. He loved dressing-up for church and other social events. It wasn’t a surprise to see Mack sporting a colorful suit with shoes to match or some fancy, “Cowboy Boots”.

Mack loved his family and their demonstrating a “heart of protection”. Mack was a very sensitive man and would cry in a minute, but all his tears were out of love. Mack will be truly missed.
